our roots
Barry started in the snow business working in New England ski shops throughout high school and college. He moved into a customer service position which allowed him to be on the front lines of both consumer and dealer relations with the brand. He worked as a Tech Rep and eventually became the representative for Atomic in the PNW, responsible for all aspects of sales, training, and promotion of the Atomic brand. He picked up other great brands along the way, like Hestra and Flylow, which added to his portfolio.
Eventually, the business required more help, so he was joined by his wife, Jessica. The business was more than just “Barry Zamzow” and Channel Z Gear was born. Turn the dial to Channel Zamzow for great products, excellent service, and good times!
Today, they are joined by Ryan Beebe and Hannah Bick who all work to sell and service the PNW while getting in some laps on the mountain – whether on skis, bikes, or feet – we’re having fun along the way!
We pride ourselves on representing some of the top performance brands/category leaders in their industries, and our relationships with accounts; leading service follow-through, and brand education. We strive to continue to build our reputation, integrity, and transparency with each transaction.
CHANNEL Z -
We work with the smallest “mom and pop” specialty dealers to large multi-store companies based in the PNW – taking the same care to execute each company’s vision
We work every aspect of the sales cycle from product presentations, order cycles, and product and sales training for the company staff and ensuring the product mix continues to stay fresh and profitable.
We promote each of the brands at local events by ensuring that visible and influential people are increasing brand awareness.
We work with our retailers to take care of their customers and increase their overall revenue while growing sales and increasing brand presence for each of the manufacturers we represent.
